October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It’s a time to come together, raise awareness, and support those affected by breast cancer. At Lee Johnson Chevrolet, we’re proud to stand alongside Chevrolet and the American Cancer Society in the fight against breast cancer. For more than a decade, Chevrolet has partnered with the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer program, helping fund groundbreaking research, provide free rides to treatment, and offer a helping hand to those who need it most. Together with Chevrolet dealerships, employees and customers, we contributed over $1.8 million in 2025 alone and nearly $24 million to the cause so far. This month, our dealership is joining in that mission. You’ll see pink accents throughout Lee Johnson Chevrolet as we honor survivors, remember loved ones, and spread hope for a future without breast cancer. We encourage our community to get involved, whether it’s by making a donation, wearing pink on Fridays, or joining a local Making Strides walk. The Lee Johnson Auto Family as a team will be participating in the Making Strides of Snohomish County walk starting at Boxcar Park in Everett on October 24th. The event opens at 9:00am and the walk begins at 10:30am, with speakers and events in-between. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is the nation’s largest and most impactful breast cancer movement working tirelessly to end breast cancer as we know it. In the last 30 years alone, the American Cancer Society has invested more than $600 million in breast cancer research and over $5 billion in research for all cancer types since 1946. Together, we can make a real difference. When we drive for something bigger than ourselves, every mile matters. Join us in the fight against breast cancer. Because we’re stronger together. https://www.leejohnsonchevrolet.com/chevrolet-american-cancer-society Sign up and join the Lee Johnson Auto Family team to walk for a cure: https://secure.acsevents.org/team/LeeJohnsonAutoFamily Where: BoxCar Park - 1200 Millwright Loop W, Everett, WA When: Saturday, October 24, 2026. [ARCHIVED]The Lee Johnson Auto Family has wrapped up another successful year for the Evergreen State Fair Food Drive
Originally Published July 2026 The Lee Johnson Auto Family has wrapped up another successful year for the Evergreen State Fair Food Drive, and the results are nothing short of inspiring! With the support of our generous community members and customers, the Snohomish County Food Bank Coalition collected a significant amount of non-perishable food, all of which will go to support local food banks and families in need. This year’s food drive exceeded expectations, with an impressive number of non-perishables donated and thousands of free tickets distributed. The outpouring of support highlights the strong spirit of community that defines Kirkland and is imbedded in the fabric of the LJ Way! Every item donated translates into meals for families facing food insecurity – an especially meaningful contribution during the summer months when demand at food banks often increases, and supply often runs low. The Lee Johnson Auto Family would like to express our gratitude to everyone who contributed and emphasize how proud we are to be part of a community that comes together to support one another. Our partnerships with the Evergreen State Fair and the Snohomish County Food Bank Coalition serve as a powerful example of how local businesses can get involved and make a difference. As the Evergreen State Fair draws closer, excitement is building for what promises to be a fun-filled celebration of agriculture, entertainment, and community spirit. From thrilling rides and delicious fair food to exhibits and live performances, the fair is set to be a highlight of the summer – and now, thanks to the success of the food drive, it’s also a reminder of what we can accomplish when we work together. See you at the Fair! August 27 – September 1 & September 3 – September 7
