Originally Published July 2026 The Lee Johnson Auto Family has wrapped up another successful year for the Evergreen State Fair Food Drive, and the results are nothing short of inspiring! With the support of our generous community members and customers, the Snohomish County Food Bank Coalition collected a significant amount of non-perishable food, all of which will go to support local food banks and families in need. This year’s food drive exceeded expectations, with an impressive number of non-perishables donated and thousands of free tickets distributed. The outpouring of support highlights the strong spirit of community that defines Kirkland and is imbedded in the fabric of the LJ Way! Every item donated translates into meals for families facing food insecurity – an especially meaningful contribution during the summer months when demand at food banks often increases, and supply often runs low. The Lee Johnson Auto Family would like to express our gratitude to everyone who contributed and emphasize how proud we are to be part of a community that comes together to support one another. Our partnerships with the Evergreen State Fair and the Snohomish County Food Bank Coalition serve as a powerful example of how local businesses can get involved and make a difference. Originally Published June 2026 The Lee Johnson Auto Family is once again partnering with the Evergreen State Fair and the Snohomish County Food Bank Coalition to help fight food insecurity across Snohomish County through the annual Evergreen State Fair Food Drive. From June 8 th through July 8 th, we encourage you to donate non-perishable and unexpired food items to any Lee Johnson Auto Family location and receive one free weekday admission ticket to the 2026 Evergreen State Fair for every 5 items donated, with a limit of 5 tickets per day while supplies last. The Food Drive will also make an appearance at the Sultan Shindig on July 11 th from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. In 2025, the Evergreen State Fair Food Drive brought in over 18,000 pounds of donations! The 2026 Evergreen State Fair will take place August 27 th through September 1 st, and September 3 rd through September 7 th. As one of the Pacific Northwest’s largest and most anticipated annual events, the fair attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year for entertainment, agriculture, exhibits, rides, and family activities.
