Exterior Design of the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado

Outside, the WT trim of the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado in Kirkland will provide you with solar absorbing glass, cargo area lamps, black bumpers, a corner-step rear bumper, daytime running lamps, and 17-inch steel wheels.

LS trims will get you upgraded wheels, chrome exterior accents, power mirrors (heated), remote door locks, the OnStar® system, and power windows. Custom trims get even more, and highlights include trim-specific design elements, chrome wheels, and front tow hooks. Going with the LT will tack on alloy wheels, upgraded cloth upholstery, a leather steering wheel, steering wheel-mounted controls, and an upgraded version of the MyLink® system.

Additional 2018 Chevrolet Silverado Trim Details

A few more trims are available, and one of the more mid-level popular trims is the LTZ. It gets a larger engine to go along with LED headlights, larger wheels, LED fog lights, the front tow hooks, a seven-pin wiring harness connector, an antitheft alarm system, power mirrors (with puddle lamps), a telescoping feature for the steering wheel, and remote engine start. Also standard on this version of the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado in Kirkland are auto-dimming mirrors, a power rear window, leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, additional front seat power adjustment settings, and driver seat memory functions.

There’s a High Country trim available as well, and it provides a good amount of trim-specific design elements. You also get cargo box tie-downs, an upgraded Bose® sound system, power-adjustable pedals, and wireless phone charging.

2018 Chevrolet Silverado Utility in Kirkland

Finally, if you go with the LT or LTZ trims (four-wheel drive), you can opt for Chevy’s famed Z71 Package, and it provides a nice amount of off-road features. Highlights include off-road equipment such as special shocks, underbody shields, recovery hooks, and a heavy duty air cleaner. Ask your friendly salesperson for more details.

Options are available across the lineup, depending on the trim level. For instance, many of the upper trim features can be had as options on the lower trims. This makes it easier for you to customize your Silverado. When it comes to packages, one popular bundle is the Driver Alert suite of safety features. It gets you lane departure warning, automatic high beam control, and parking sensors, to name a few.

2018 Chevrolet Silverado Engine and Safety Technology

The base engine for the lineup of 2018 Chevrolet Silverado in Kirkland is a 4.3 liter V6 that produces 285hp and 305 lb-ft of torque. It gets a six-speed automatic transmission. Another option is the 5.3 liter V8 that generates 355hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. The six-speed is standard, but you can go with an eight-speed transmission if you wish. Upper trims can be had with a 6.2 liter V8 that makes for a healthy 420hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. This powertrain gets the eight-speed automatic exclusively.

Safety features are highlighted by the inclusion of airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system, emergency brake assist, the rear vision camera, and the StabiliTrak® electronic stability control system. You also get the Teen Drive setup, and this allows you to set certain driving parameter limits when a younger driver takes the wheel.
